Bill Woodall, retired software engineer from Qualcomm will present an overview of the best of Open Office software.
Bill has spent many years working and consulting on computer systems, has his own "server" and loves to work with Seniors (and Kids) helping them with their computers.
OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE is very often developed in a public, collaborative manner. Open source software is the most prominent example of user-generated software. Adoption of open source has resulted in savings of about $60 billion per year to consumers.
In this presentation, you'll learn about the different types of open source software available, how they work and what to keep in mind if you're considering implementing such systems.
